You're in. Now we have 7 people (those listed on the 1st post) and the games can start.

So the idea is to have a 2 game tournament: 1st game is regular PPO and the 2nd will be Fog of war PPO. We can either play the 2 games one after the other or at the same time. I don't mind which, but unless people demand otherwise I'll go for having one after the other, with the regular game first. Deadlines will be 48/24/24 hours. Country selection will be random. I will create the games and PM everyone the password on friday.

Is that ok with everyone? Any questions?

Ok guys, I am now about to create the first game, and will be sending the password via PM to those involved. The game name will be "PPOT G1". The list of those in it can be found in the first post of this thread. If there are any problems, please contact me.

This means that the tournament is now closed to new entrants. But, if you wish to, you can still register your interest in competing in any future tournaments, or being a reserve in case one one of the players drops out.

I can has spot in tourney please?
Do you hear the people sing,
Lost in the valley of the night,
It is the music of a people,
Who are climbing to the light,

For the wretched of the earth,
There is a flame that never dies,
Even the darkest night must end,
And the sun will rise

The tournament is now already under way. But if you like, I can contact you if I organise another one, or if someone drops out of this one.

Its good to see a couple more people interested. The current tournament is full, but there will probably be another at some point. If I organise it, I'll be sure to contact everyone who has expressed an interest here.

I hope everyone is enjoying the current game. Quite interesting how some players have been a lot more talkative than others. But it's good to see everyone is communicating a bit - which is the best way to play the game. You do occasionally get people who try to play the game like a gunboat game - which is not usually a successful tactic!

Shall we start the 2nd game soon? I was thinking of creating it on friday, if that's ok with everyone - please say if thats not convenient.
The second game would be exactly the same as the first except that it would also be fog of war. I've played one game of this before, and found fog of war + PPO to be a very interesting combination.
