Pedros has offered to do it as a forum game and GM it.
That'll be the easiest way probably.
I will be running the London Marathon on 22nd April 2012 to raise funds to help disabled children and in memory of my darling wife who sadly passed away in January 2012.

Just let me know when you've decided the arrangements!

1-on-1 is a better idea, Stander (especially since FlTeacher didn't grasp the concept!). Just let me know when and where.

Big O - you bring the board and I'll bring the beers.

I'm easy. Any time, any place, any where.

THE BATTLE BETWEEN THE GENERATIONS - Game 3 ends: Final plac

Postby Pedros » 02 Jul 2010, 18:08

This post included a howler which was notable even by Pedros' standards in mistakes. Game 3 of the Challenge was not the third and final game to finish, giving the Oldies a massive and momentous victory - it had already been counted! Game 2 finished last!

Generations: afterthoughts

Now that the dust is settling there are a few questions floating around - and probably more which nobody's mentioned yet.

Firstly, even before we began some people were asking for either a bigger match or for further matches when this one was over. Apart from any questions about the best format (see Secondly!), is there a call for this?

Secondly, during the games a couple of people suggested to me that the Doubles Tournament format which we used seemed unfair. Certainly, when I made the original draw, I could see that the Whipersnappers were going to have a tough ride ahead. There weren't the same comments in the Doubles Tournament (at least, if there were Rick has kept them to himself!), but the big difference there was that each pair played three games so that the luck, to some extent at least, evened out. What do you think? And do you have any better ideas?
