That would kinda negate part of the point of it.

I disagree; I think enough interesting things can happen after 1908 that the game could benefit from going on longer, while still having a fixed ending.

I’d love to see year-limits become an option on the site, for 7, 10, 15, etc Years. This series is intended as a proof-of-concept, so for now I’m trying to keep it simple.

Being able to set your own year-limits on games you create is a great idea!

At any rate, I'm interested in game 1 (the anon countries). PM me the password, please!

Yes I could see that too. It would be very interesting to read the AARs on each type. I assume the AARs will be a big part of this.

Yes, I'll be very interested to get your take on this. I'm hoping we can get a few more to play. I'll sign up for the 24-hour-no-weekends game, though I think we'll fill the 2/1/1 game up first.

So getting a solo win (18 centers) and topping the board with 17 gives you the same amount of points? I'm confused

As Ceasers Geezers states, a solo yields all 100 points to the winner, and 0 points to everyone else. It's only in a draw that the rankings and other points factor.

Let me know if you want to try it out.

Do ya think we should publicize the 2/1/1 game a bit more? Been stuck on 3 people for a while now.

I’ve got one person who just needs to apply to the classicists first. I may go cross-post on the regular LFG board to see if there’s others interested.

Would any of you that have signed up so far have an objection to me opening this series up to non-Classicists?

I would take a look at their stats first, of course, to make sure they weren't a frequent quitter.
