No, I definitely don't see it as a clear 4 way for us. For a start, I wasn't even talking to Portugal.

Russia is a massive force, and although we were going to do some damage in East Asia, there was a long battle ahead of us. One which would probably not get resolved because the English-Netherlands alliance had a lot of fleets while Russia had a lot of armies. So there was never going to be a suitable theatre of battle. On land we lose. At sea Russia loses. Stalemate.

Spain also had strong winning chances. I'm not sure why he was dismissed out of hand. Once he secured Africa then he would have gone to the Rest Stop or something and gained a lot then.

Everybody wins. :D

That was fine by me. I falsified the maps I sent you. ;-)

EDIT: Also, I didn't know you did, but I suspected you would have. Since you didn't post them on the board for all to see, I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt.

Comparing the maps I've got, it doesn't look like the map was tampered with, unless you moved the units...

I received, at various points, maps from Holland, Britain, France and Russia, though in the later years I couldn't get any new maps 'cos I had nothing new to offer

Look at the details of Flatlistan, as well as the SCs on the real map. I don't remember exactly what I did, but I think I merged a couple of the NE territories, too.

Oh, yeah. I shaved a couple SCs off of that... it was the map I sent to Spain that was really reworked. http://kupax.com/files/6677_nm7mt/1495FallRussia.gif

It's too bad people stopped asking to change maps. I thought I could milk this for quite some time.

Right click on the image. Then depending on your browser it will have something like open image, open image in new tab or something. Then you can see it all.
