Asia variant

Postby Friday » 06 Nov 2016, 21:06

In the old days, there was a physical boardgame Asian variant of diplomacy. I don't recall the name now.

I'm wondering if anyone has done a variant for this site. In part, the thread about armies and navies prompts the question. It would be interesting to have a board that is much more naval.

Yeah...the one you are thinking of is Colonial ...we have played it on the forum before. But its still not super fleet heavy. There is another version called Far East Asia, but its not very well balanced.

Yeah, Colonial's fun, but when I played the ocean's just ended up getting stalemated (for the most part) after the first few years, while all of the main action was happening on the continent.
I have special eyes.
