Milan solo frequencies higher than vanilla?

I've just been having a quick look at Milan, prior to dipping my toe in. When I look at the ranked archived games, there seems to be a much higher percentage of solos than in normal Diplomacy. Is that the case, in your experience?

I don't have much experience playing Milan but that makes all sorts of sense. The map changes in Milan completely alter the Main Stalemate Line running South and West of Switzerland. It makes it much easier for Italy to attack France earlier with the result that it is more likely that the traditional early and mid-game will see someone develop across that line and cut down on the traditional stalemate positions that so often occur in the endgame. It is a very subtle change but has a lot of significance.
