32523 perhaps. He didn't have enough armies to hold the line even if he didn't surrender.

32565. This was a game of mine where the allied powers (me) defeated the central powers (gin). In my opinion, we both made an equal amount of blunders but that's up for debate. Also, he had regained a significant amount of a defeated Germany with Austria-Hungary and had established a stalemate line in his favor (in terms of SCs). His use of Italy gave him an edge as well, though we had no pre-game arrangements regarding the country.

Just to add something:

I am 3/3 with getting Italy.
I am 3/3 winning.

Coincidence? I think not.

Try playing without Italy.

I might have to...

It would be amazing if we could have an Italy Neutral one (and I'm not sure how hard it would be to code--just extend the 1901 neutral buffer).

It isn't very hard to just enter in hold and disband orders for Italy...

Yes, but whoever holds Italy gets the 3 centers so they really only need 21...

If your holding/disbanding Italy...and both sides know it...Italy wont make it until one side has the 21...

With or without Italy, I tend to see more wins with E/R/F than with A/G/T. A few examples were noted above of traditional openings for the E/R/F alliance. Anyone wish to counter this with a few examples of A/G/T winning on a regular basis, or are we all in agreement?
