Have you used the Manual Orders override?

When we introduced the Manual Override button at the bottom of the game map to allow people to enter orders through menus rather than point and click, we made it clear it was BETA level and that you should always check your orders if you use it.

Now it has been around for a bit, I am keen to know if we are OK to remove the BETA tag and the warnings. So the question is
- have people used it?
- have you found any problems? Did you have to correct any orders it made?

I've used it just to see if it works and such, but I heavily prefer the point and click style. I've got a couple new people playing Dip that use the manual override simply just to see what is and is not a legal move.

It might sound less arcane if the button said something like "Enter orders manually" instead of "Start manual override" though. It might get more people to try it out if it sounded like something they were allowed to touch.

Good point! We really only provided it for Mobile users, because it is a bit easier when on your phone. But the wording is rubbbish as you say, I will change it to something better.

Tried to use it once, but it still asked for me to click destination. Didn’t get offered a list of choices.
Not sure I would use it often anyway as my IPad is big enough to click the destination & the iPhone is so small I probably couldn’t read the text. Getting old so eyes don’t work so well...

I've used it a few times. Point-and-click is plain fun, but sometimes my phone or iPad doesn't behave and I use the manual override as the next-best thing. I've heard people say this site isn't great for mobile users, but I'm not sure why. I play Dip mostly on my phone, and it's fine for me.
