It's looking like there may be help coming to get more development work done! Avalanche is apparently hiring someone who is going to have a part time role helping out here, which will be great!

Hey all. I am the new help, and its looks like i need to fill in some big shoes. You be hearing more from me in the next few weeks as i try first to catch up on the current state of the site and the plans we have. I am open to any feedback and suggestions. Suggestion: Move the site to HTTPS using LetsEncrypt free SSL certificate and set a crontab to automatically renew it before it expires. Takes about 3 hours to set up and the entire site from games to the forum could be certified. Good for instilling confidence in newbies... there have been a few threads popping up about browsers warning that this site is not secure when entering passwords.
