So would I, actually.

I appreciate that. But can you prove your African-ness to satisfy the bloodline requirements?

I suppose you probably could claim it, if you trace back your ancestry 100,000 years or so. If I can get seven players to PM me who are willing to play for Team Africa over some other, err... more recent place of origin, I'd captain that team.

Plenty.

Heh. That oughtta teach me to not make assumptions, even for the sake of a joke.

iShine, consider Team Africa open for business. I'll make a recruitment thread whenever I find the time.

Who is interested in a European Union Team?

I'm debating whether to make it 8 or 4 per team. We may not get enough for 8 each...we'll see.

In worst case; yes.

But I would feel ashamed if we couldnt at least get a few teams out of Europe and I dont think we want to do a Ryder Cup out of it, USA vs Europe.

How about a Mediterranean Sea Team (France, Spain, Italy, Greece etc) and Baltic Sea Team (Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Finland etc) and a North Sea Team (UK, Norway, Belgium, Holland)? Or perhaps I just like fleets too much?

Well, the Eurozone's population is more or less the same as that of the US...

If someone doesn't get a Midwest (USA) team going I guess I'll start one up.
