FYI -- I put in the reservation for 15 at 5 pm. I can change that if needed, but they might get snotty about seating us without everyone present which was why I went for 5 pm. Figured that gives us time for herding cats, especially since with board call at 5 people should be available by 5.

Myself, sinny, pootle, big gun, asu, Kim, nopun, aeschines, ghostecho, floridaman, Conq, springbutt46, and shield are almost definitely confirmed as attending the tournament. Not sure who amongst those will be attending the Playdip congregation.

I live in the DC area and just wanted those from out of town to be aware that Florence may also be planning to attend WDC this year. She's a Category 3 or 4 hurricane. Not clear yet which way she will go, or when she will arrive in the area (most likely, I'm told, September 14 or 15), but for those flying in or coming by car, keep an eye on the weather and your travel connections. Those of you coming by boat should be fine.

You should come join us! For dinner at least, if not WDC itself.

Uhm... Florence is getting here like on Friday. If she's still here 3 weeks later, I'll be extraordinarily impressed.

OK, my bad. I thought the WDC was this coming weekend. Yes, happy to meet up with you guys at a dinner in DC if it's later in the year.

Florence is going to make things wet here for sure - but given that WDC is in October .... I think we're going to be ok on that front!

And HEY, if you live in DC, how come I don't know you from the F2F games we've been playing here for the last 20 years?
Stab you soon!
