Edi actually won Best Austria too, Siobhan just didn't want to give him yet another bear to take home.

This is the eleventh Whipping I know of, and the second since its rebirth last year after a three year hiatus.

You are of course correct, Peter, that was Whipping XI. It was a pleasure to meet you this weekend. (You won't know me by my handle here, but we were sitting at the same table before the first round started as you were chatting with Alex when I figured out who you were.) I hope you enjoy your time in the Bay Area.

Hoping next year it will not be held on Easter weekend.
Personally I'm always ready to learn, although I do not always like being taught.

No idea is so outlandish that it should not be considered with a searching but at the same time a steady eye.

Hotel De Anza architecture and finishes are all art deco. The carpet works with the place. Think martinis (or scotch in your case) and Mr. Gatsby in Silicon Valley.

Aww.... The Great Gatsby. Then Edi Birsan looks the perfect part.

If only this were two weeks earlier to coincide with Spring Break. I may find my way out there next year anyways--it's bound to happen eventually, just a matter of when I can make it work. Who can resist the chance to compete for a teddy bear prize!
