Cancelling orders in Retreat phase

Postby Bromley86 » 10 Nov 2017, 13:07

It's never come up for me before, but I've just noticed that it's apparently impossible to cancel a retreat order once entered. You can change it to another retreat order with no difficulty, but there's no "x" to completely clear your order list. Right?

You can change it to a destroy, which is what will happen if you don't retreat anyway.

Is that the case when the game is protected? I was toying with accepting an NMR strike in order to make use of the extra negotiating time in a protected game, but couldn't as I had already entered an order. IIRC, it's only the Build phase that is exempted from protection, so my cunning plan would have worked, if the x option was there.
